Geoffrey Martin

President

Mr. Martin (Los Angeles) has 18 years of experience in travel and aviation research. He founded GRM in 2002 to assist internationally-based clients in managing benchmarking studies throughout the U.S. Since that time, the roster of airports managed by GRM has risen from three to 29, with end clients including American Airlines, Delta Airlines, San Antonio International Airport, Wayne County Airport Authority, Atlanta/Hartsfield Jackson Airport, Port Columbus International Airport, SITA Systems, and the U.S. Department of Commerce. GRM’s emphasis is customer satisfaction and brand identity. Currently, his focus is new client development and strategic consulting. He has procured accounts with Expedia.com, Oversee.net, Corebrand, m1nd-set, SA, Airports Council International, the International Air Transport Association, DKMA, SA, and Pro Data, Ltd.

Between 1998 and 2002, Mr. Martin was the Marketing Director for Anchor Network. During his tenure, Mr. Martin acquired international clients that diversified and expanded the range of company services. Prior to that, he was a Senior Account Supervisor at Jacobson Communications, a public affairs firm in Los Angeles, where he developed media and government relations campaigns for the City and County of Los Angeles, energy companies, and the high tech industry. He holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Southern California.

Charles Stein

Managing Director

Mr. Stein (Cleveland) joined GRM in 2009 as National Field Director and was promoted to Managing Director in 2012. Mr. Stein manages operations for the company and works closely with the company president in setting quarterly and annual goals for productivity and profitability. He oversees human resources, project management, and quality assurance for nationwide benchmarking programs across 29 U.S. airports. In addition, Mr. Stein has managed studies for the following clients: ICF International, Tampa International Airport, Ipsos North America, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, San Antonio International Airport, Wayne County Airport Authority, Corebrand/Long Beach Airport, Port Columbus International Airport, Expedia.com, and M1ndset, SA/Boeing.

From 1999-2002, Stein managed the New York Office of Anchor Network, a MR firm specializing in advertising tests for television and film clients including Fox, Universal, Paramount and Sony Pictures. In 2003, he founded Anchor Midwest, a Cleveland, Ohio-based branch serving the upper Midwest. Stein holds an MBA from Case Western University’s Weatherhead School of Management and B.A. from Antioch College in Communications.

Susana Fatemian

Human Resource Director

Susana Fatemian serves as the Human Resources Manager for GRM. She has more than twenty years of progressive human resources experience managing small to mid-size organizations. Susana brings a wealth of experience across a diverse range of industries within public relations, medical, restaurant, temporary staffing and transportation industry. Working directly with and for senior leadership teams, Susana has developed and implemented recruiting/hiring/onboarding strategies, benefit programs and policy, together with managing compliance issues, payroll and defending legal action.

Susana Fatemian specializes in providing HR leadership and effective change management in entrepreneurial environments experiencing growth, reorganization and the integration of distinct business units and cultures, while ensuring that HR initiatives are firmly aligned with an organization’s unique brand and business objectives.

Susana is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, where she studied Business Administration. She furthered her education at California State University, Dominguez Hills where she earned a Human Resource Management Certificate. Susana speaks English, Spanish and Farsi. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), and PIHRA South Bay Chapter. Susana is a theater and restaurant enthusiast. She is a South Bay native and lives with her family in Rancho Palos Verdes. She also loves long walks at the beach hahaha

Laura Peach

Senior Project Manager. Los Angeles

Laura Peach serves as the Los Angeles Field Supervisor. She holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Theatre and Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of New England 2017. Laura served as a Field Manager and Project Manager at Sweeney Research in Australia from March 2011 – December 2015. There she worked on a number of interstate projects including Qantas/Sydney Airport and Canberra. Her responsibilities included hiring, interviewing potential employees, training interviewers, feedback and observations, keeping track and managing quotas and KPIs. Prior to that, Laura worked at Newspoll Market Research in Melbourne from February 2007- February 2010 as an Interviewer (CATI and field), Focus Group Recruiter, and ultimately a Team Leader conducting quality control, training, observations and feedback and monitoring.

Mimi Kaszuba

Project Manager. New York City

Mimi Connell serves as the New York area Field Supervisor for GRM. She is a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo in Social Sciences and has over 20 years in the commercial aviation, hospitality, and scientific analytical research fields. This included 16 years with American Airlines (AA) as a lead flight attendant and reservations agent. In addition to extensive travel throughout Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean, her responsibilities included training and team management.

Jacqueline O’Connell

Project Manager

Jackie O’Connell is a Field Manager working from our Cleveland Office. She is responsible for managing survey research teams at airports in the North-Northeast territories of the U.S. She holds a Ph.D. and Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and a Master’s of Political Science from M.I.T.
Jackie’s professional highlights include design and analytical work for the private sector in such varied areas as: mass communications, travel, petroleum, health care, and financial services.In addition, she has managed survey research programs for the US Postal Service, as well as for public utilities.She served as a Study Director at Market Facts, Inc., working in all aspects of study design, analysis, budgeting, sales and proposal writing.At Market Facts, she was involved in an array of types of projects, including customer satisfaction, advertising tracking, product development and more.

Previously, she served as the Manager of Survey Services for the Center for Strategy Research, where she managed the interviewing staff and oversaw the data collection process.She has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative survey techniques.

Sarah Haftings

Field Manager

Sarah Haftings is a Field Manager with GRM. She joined the team in 2011 shortly after graduating from Kennesaw State University with her BS in Psychology and after completing a research internship with the National Institute on Drug Abuse focusing on social research. For more than seven years, she served as primary hiring manager, statistician, and project manager with GRM working from our Atlanta office. Following a move to the Southwest, she served as Human Resources Director at a nonprofit organization before returning to the GRM team in 2019 as Field Manager.

Sarah has been a presenter at the Suburban Conference of 2012, Presenter at the International Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology Conference, 2011 and co-authored a paper presented at the Society for the Study of Social Problems Conference, 2012.

Cathy Antus

Quality Assurance Manager

Cathy Antus heads GRM’s Quality Assurance Department, overseeing the processing and quality control measures of nearly 100,000 PAPI and Tablet-based questionnaires annually. She plays a vital role in ensuring overall compliance metrics are met for tracking studies in all GRM’s airports. Cathy also handles inventory control for all PAPI and CAPI survey instruments throughout our 50-person field network.

Ms.Antus has worked with GRM since 2009 in a variety of roles. She has over 25 years of marketing research experience in the healthcare, financial, entertainment, travel and tourism, and manufacturing industries. Before working with GRM, Cathy was the Market Manager for Anchor Network Midwest, working directly with clients while managing staff conducting advertising tests for Nielsen Research Group. Prior to that she was a Project Manager at National Market Measures, Inc., designing and executing quantitative and qualitative research studies, providing detailed statistical analysis, written reports, presentations, and marketing recommendations to her client base.
